Amazon Lex Achieves PCI DSS Compliance

Amazon Lex is now a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant service.

Customers can now use Amazon Lex to capture, transmit, and retrieve sensitive payment card data for use cases such as payment processing, and mobile wallet that are subject to PCI DSS compliance.

PCI DSS is a proprietary information security standard administered by the PCI Security Standards Council and applies to all entities that store, process or transmit cardholder data and/or sensitive authentication data including merchants, processors, acquirers, issuers, and service providers.
